Whitemoor School

Whitemoor School in Nottingham required a large, permanent kitchen facility to provide hot meals to pupils and staff. With a tight budget, and without the possibility of undertaking major building work, Nottingham City Council needed a cost effective kitchen solution.

The solution was one of PKL's first multi-unit open-plan KitchenPods. It involved creating a large open-plan kitchen by using several KitchenPod units joined together, which made a spacious, well-equipped kitchen area capable of providing meals to the whole school. Installed in the summer holidays, the KitchenPod was ready for use by the first day of term.
